BAICHUANG HEALTH Wins First Prize at China Medical Device Innovation And Entrepreneurship Competition with Innovative Urological Solution

On September 4, 2026, BAICHUANG HEALTH’s Disposable Embedded Dilating Catheter was awarded First Prize in the Injection, Nursing, Protection and Infection Control Device Category of the China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, recognizing its innovative design, clinical value, and technological potential.

Organized under the guidance of relevant institutions of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been successfully held for eight consecutive years since 2018. As one of China’s most influential professional competitions in the medical device industry, the competition focuses on medical innovation, clinical transformation, and the integration of medicine and engineering, supporting the commercialization of outstanding healthcare technologies.

Over the past eight editions, the competition has attracted 6,007 innovative projects, with 726 projects receiving first, second, and third prizes in the final rounds. Follow-up statistics show that participating projects have achieved total financing exceeding RMB 8 billion within six months after the competition. The competition’s final events and innovation week activities have attracted more than 4,000 enterprises, innovation service organizations, and investment institutions, together with experts, academicians, regulators, and industry professionals from across the medical device ecosystem.

The award-winning product, Disposable Embedded Dilating Catheter, was developed to address clinical challenges in urological dilation and catheterization procedures. By integrating dilation and urinary drainage functions into a single device, the product provides an innovative approach to urological intervention.

Featuring an innovative front-end lubrication structure and controlled progressive dilation design, the catheter enables smoother insertion and flexible dilation, helping reduce tissue stress and improve patient comfort during procedures. This integrated design offers a new solution for urological care by optimizing traditional workflows and enhancing procedural safety.
